Big Butterfly Count

The Big Butterfly Count is a nationwide citizen science survey aimed at
helping assess the health of our environment. Simply count butterflies for 15
minutes during bright (preferably sunny) weather between 18 July and 10
August. The Big Butterfly Count website explains what to do and provides a
list of target butterfly and day-flying moth species they’d like you to count.
REG will be doing a butterfly count in August – if you’d like to join in with
